    Dispatcher

I am a dispatcher for a repair service, now you may say that I am not a tech and don't belong here but I do daily seek solutions to my techs problems on line and after a couple of years of troubleshooting on their behalf think I might at times have info to share, as well as I follow closely the way the techs solve the problems and will be happy to share if I can help. Thank You for accepting me into your community,

    Humbly,

    Dispatch Girl

              Re: Dispatcher

My own dispatcher spends quite a bit of time here.

To truly be helpful it takes a little extra thorough questioning of the enduser:
              What jam code displayed?
What paper sizes or trays affected?
              What exact error code displayed?
As many details as possible. Even seemingly unrelated things can be related in the end.

We can help sometimes, if there is enough information.
              Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
