Re: Brand new
First off, welcome to CTN. Secondly, post this in the correct forum (Kyocera Mita, Copystar) for a more prompt reply.Do for one what you wished you could do for everyone. - Andy Stanley -
Re: Brand new
Why don't you introduce yourself? I think that's what the hosts had in mind with this particular forum.
Tell us a funny story. We like funny stories. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Brand new
I put the new firmware in my km5050 today and still could not relieve the various error codes that came up. Cfa3e, cfb30, cfb31, c0640. Going to put a hard drive in tomorrow. thanks for all your suggestions.I'll be upset if I can't get a 40 gig hard drive for less than 20 bucks. having a hard time finding a 40 maybe I'll have to use an 80.Comment

Re: Brand new
Just read the specs off the old drive, and Google the numbers. Every time I've tried it I've found an identical drive for under $100. The only time you can't do this is if it's a dual drive set up as a RAID.
Where's that funny story? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:

Welcome .....
Where is Glen Ellyn ?
Are you close to Mattoon ?
I saw a two story outhouse there while visiting some friends one week ."The Serenity Prayer" . . .
God grant me the serenity to accept stupid people , the courage to not waste my time and energy on them , and the wisdom to know that I cannot fix STUPID .Comment

Re: Brand new
put in the new hard drive. Found one for less than 20 bucks works great. the firmware update stopped me from scanning and receiving I fax. we put some new addresses in through the browser but it still would not scan or receive I fax. I probably will be able to figure out if it's something I need to program through the browser.but will I have to change settings in the sim codes.Comment

How about the last time you ripped out your pants when crouching. Everybody's done that at least once.
Hint: wear shorts the same color. It's less obvious. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
