New to the forum, not in copiers/printers

Registered to the forum a couple of days ago, seems i have to post on order not the get deleted from the memberlist

I'm not having any quiestions jet, have been reading quite a bit though... And it seems i'm not the ony one tearing out hairs about the IRc 2020 Advance

We have a couple of them out-on-lease, and most of them running ordinairy officejobs are doing quite fine. It's 2 of them that are bugging me. One being used for pretty high volumes, and one that's beiing abused as a Full-color plotter (architects) who print their designs and building plans on it.

The latter one has given me quite some headackes, but at least now i know it's not me... It's the printer and it's abuse...

Re: New to the forum, not in copiers/printers

On advice from Canon self, i'm going to replace the laserunit this afternoon.... After replacing Magenta an Blue drum quite a few times, and the drum drive assy, and some ITB's ... But at 4% i don't suspect the drum. After cleaning the laser in-and-out it got slightly better... for the first 1-20 prints... then it came back... It always does, after 1-20 prints, or after a month or so...

If the problem comes back, i will make a thread for it, the printer deserves it by now

Replaced the laser, did a ITB cleaning, a full grad. adjust, another cleaning.... Problem was gone...

Oh, the problem was : First print ok, every next print had darker colors and Cyan streaks and stripes...
app 5000 prints where made since last replacement of the Cyan drum.
