    newbie checking in

Hello everyone this is copierkats, I work on a variety of machine from canon, richo, Minolta ,sharp, I am a jack of all trades and a master at some.
currently I am dealing with print head issues on the bizhub c203, where one call I went to it had copy quality issues, so I
    1. clean the print head mirrors with the print head cleaning stick,
    2. took out the transfer belt inspected it
    3. ran the Image Adjustment: Gradation, Resolution, High Compression Mode
    4. inform the customer that they were not adjusting the bypass tray for labels

after doing all that the copies came out fine, they ran a few more labels and it was fine,
then when I left drove down the street they call me in a frenzy and said that it was making a loud noise and they received a error code of c4151
which is a Polygon Motor Rotation Trouble Cyan: The polygon motor fails to turn stably even after the lapse of a given period of time after activating the polygon mirror. motor lock signal detects high for a given period time consecutively during the polygon motor is rotating.

I read some forums on this site and it said that I could have a blown fuse with reference to the ph that's bad,

My Question is, did I do something in the troubleshooting that cause the ph to go bad, or was it just its time or coincident?

It's unlikely that you did something to stop a polygon motor from turning. It's just the usual completely bad luck, that you happened to work on the machine within minutes of it's failure. You have no choice but state decisively that you could not have caused it. They'll never believe it ... but that's the joy of this business. It's going to be really expensive to fix ... but you already know that. Your best bet is to find a used machine to donate it's laser.

        ... and welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Glad to have you join us. Polygons usually go with no advance warning. Start of a copy it is working then half way through it seizes. Might make a high pitched squeal for about a second first, might not.
