An old problem, as Hans said, and his solution will help. However, note that it's just a control for a script to pass the search to google.com, using Google's "site:" parameter pointed to "copytechnet.com" -- so you can do that yourself:
    Code:
    <search terms> site:copytechnet.com[/]
(trailing slash "/" is shown as optional)

That's especially useful if you want to narrow your search for better granularity. For example, if your interest is Canon copiers or printers, you can correspondingly narrow the search domain:
    Code:
    <search terms> site:copytechnet.com/forums/canon[/]
([BTW: If you look on the Home page under "Technical Forums", you will see "Copier Technical Discussion" and "Fax & Printer Technical Discussion", each with a "Canon" category - but both link to the same place. I believe Canon is the only brand for which that is true.)

Gimbolero, this is a known issue since years.

try this link from one of our collegues:

    301 Moved Permanently

(Those Brits are driving the wrong side of the road, but I must say they know how to make a clever search thingy.... LOL)

    Having trouble with search.

Hi all. Is it me or is the search on this forum not very good?

I may be doing something wrong but the results bear almost no relevence to my search key words.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
