Email notifications for subscribed threads

Hi Folks, from maybe 3 days ago I suddenly started to receive email notifications. I don't need them.
I can see in my control panel that Default Thread Subscription Mode was set long time ago to instantly, using email which I suppose never worked, or atleast it stopped to work at some point.
I think to change this setting to through my control panel only. Am I right that will stop those emails?

I believe that email notification default is ON. If you had it OFF before, it may have been turned back ON by recent updates related with the transition to https://

Huh, that didn't stop emails. For the moment I remove the check from box to Receive Email from Administrators and will see.

You were still set to auto-subscribe to all threads you posted in so I:

• Canceled all your old thread subscriptions
• Set auto-subscribe to off
• turned "allow admin messages" back on

Let me know if that doesn't get you where you want to be.

Maybe I misunderstood but I want to subscribe when post a new thread, or reply to a topic.
Just don't want to receive email but get notified through my control panel ONLY. Is that possible?
