Can you give me an example of a specific post your are trying to find. Or are you just going to be a cry baby and never get anything accomplished. As long as you continue with the defeatist attitude youra re going to continue to be defeated.

      Can't find anything.
If you are trying to find a thread that you have posted in previously it is exceedingly simple. Got to your profile. Click on Activities. You can now scroll through everything that you have ever posted. When you get to the bottom of the page just click Show More and keep scrolling until you find the post you are interested in.

No forum is moved in such a way that you can no longer find the old post!

        This is a post that I can't find :

or rather, none of the links to old posts are working.

This is not my thread ! This is a thread I had saved in bookmarks, but now the link no longer works. How will this be fixed so that it will work again?

Once AGAIN. WHEN WAS IT CREATED? During the last year there were at least 2 database restores made form backups that were 2 to 5 days old The restores were needed to correct problems that were preventing people from connecting. There was also a corrupted portion of the database from an upgrade 7 of 8 years ago. Each of those represents non-recoverable loss of data. Over the years there have also been threads that have been moderated and some that have been deleted by the original posting member. In addition, the migration to the latest vBulletin software lost about 5 days worth of posts about which Aneurysm posted a warning in advance.

Current situation: The site's search index of 900k+ posts is still rebuilding, you should be able to search the canon forum for it soon but we're not there yet. The same can be said for Google searches.

Old vs. New URL issue: Not sure if it can be "fixed", looking into it.

How can I tell you when it has been created if the connection is not working?

I was wondering if the search was still indexing. Im looking for a Kyocera 0511 jam post and i can't search it. But is it nice we can copy and past right into the dam forum. ?

Just remember guys, the site admins are not getting rich off this site. Don't shit where you eat. We all need this site. It's a important tool. Constructive criticism is good. Having a fit about it not being perfect right after a migration will just lead to an attitude of "you can piss off".

Because Google is still updating their index as well. Contrary to popular Google does not actually search anything except their own index. And of course you own cookies.
