I have a Mac. I don't like it. I rolled my personal PC back to Windows 10 and it's working fine now. It didn't help with any of the problems on the site but I can now attach docs and pictures. 😀

I was just kidding around, Billy. I'm not a Mac fan, but I can find my way around the OS.

At another company where I was service manager, I got the owner to get us a Mac mini I put in the showroom with an A/B cable for the monitor, mouse and keyboard. This way I could (along with my techs) get familiar with using a Mac. At the time we had a bunch of real estate clients and most of them (for some reason) used Macs.

This week we got a new lawyer client with an all Mac environment. Six Macs. 😖

The customer wanted scan to folder, printing defaulted to black, and Job Accounting. I got it all to work, but what a pain in the ass.

That's the same reason I bought a Mac - to get familiar with it. It's rather easy to use once you get familiar with it but it's made for idiots and you can't dig down into the settings like with Windows.

PS - I learned this after the fact, but you can install a virtual MAC operating system on a Windows Machine. Much cheaper.

I've done this and you can learn how to scan to file, email and any other thing you want to learn about a Mac.

Maybe this information will help someone. I haven't been able to block anyone and I got the following error: "email address much match."

I entered the same email address in both boxes towards the bottom of the screen and it saved them. But after doing that, I entered a name to add to my block list and it returned the same error. I finally figured out that

a.) you must enter your email address in both boxes and add the user name to be blocked at the same time and then save.

              and

b.) you must do this every time you want to add a name to your block list.

Here's another way to do it per Aneurysm

I can save updates to settings on that page if all of these are EMPTY.

Not that I have noticed. At the top of most screens clip on your name. Click on My Profile. Click on Subscribed. Click on Edit Subscribed, Click on Subscribers. Click on Go to Ignore List. I just checked and you can set a Bookmark or shortcut for future use.

Don't worry, it took me some time to finger that one out. It was a hell of a lot easier with the old system

I just tried that and it brought me to the same "account" screen in my previous post. I got the same error message. The problem is that it's auto-filling the email address box with some crap every time. I made sure auto fill is off in my browser and tried 2 different browsers. Not sure what's going on there?

You may have a corrupted value somewhere in your profile

Makes sense to me. Now that I know how to block someone I don't mind the couple of extra steps. It's something that I rarely do. Thanks, slim.
