    Annoying Ads

Is there a way to stop the ads on CTN? It's really getting to a point that is unbearable and may stop me from coming here. I'm talking about whole top of page ads that lock screen until you close ad, then every time you change pages same thing happens again. I think anyone who contributes to a website shouldn't have to suffer with ads. And to make matters worse anyone that PM's me for manuals, firmware, etc I always ask them to make a contribution to CTN before I send material. Thanks

As someone suggested earlier, I’ve been using AdGuard app on my IPAD and it’s been working great for this site and others.

I use a 15.6" Windows laptop with Firefox as my browser. I use the Add-ons Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin. I do not see banner adds.

Im sure you know about the VIP access although IMHO some members should receive it automatically for their ongoing support to CTN.
Another ways are mentioned and I'm using them actively too.

I NEVER, EVER, see ads when using the Internet. Copytechnet too is for me complete without adds.

Firefox with adblock ext did the trick, NO ads! Damn Google Chrome always trying to sell you something while tracking you.
            Thanks again to everyone.

Anyone who can swing it, should become VIP members and that will solve the ad problem and help this website. I don't remember how much it cost me, but it wasn't that much. Look, if one copier or computer problem is solved for me because of this site, the VIP subsciption pays for itself.

              Why not do it?

No more ads now that I switched to firefox with ad blocker. I donate to CTN once or twice per year. Probably more $ than what VIP would cost me. Not to mention all the people that PM me for firmware & manuals, I always ask them to make a small donation.
