Alice's IPs, email addresses, usernames, etc are now on a list of known spammers
If Alice was a semi-pro-level link builder (spammer) it wouldn't matter
If Alice was an amateur spammer she's going to be somewhat inconvenienced
The way user banning is set up it's hard to send everyone a "tanks for reporting" message but thank you to everyone who flags spam on this site, I banish them all, including many whose posts never get out of the moderation queue so thanks again for helping keep this place somewhat spam free.
