HOW do you attach a photo jpeg to the post

I am trying to show whats going on with a 1.03meg color digital photo (jpeg)
I even got it smaller in size and still cant attach it or attach an image when I try to post!
I see a red ! on the Rh side

The photo would really show what I am trying to get fixed.
    Its NOT the drum!
    thanks guys

Go to manage attachments, click upload files, then select file to upload from your computer. Once it is uploaded, it will appear in the lower section of that window. Put a 'tick' in the box on that picture, then click insert attachment.
It will be showing as the file name in the post section.

    I can do it OK.

Let try to post a Pic

Is there a limit on how big a jpeg pic can be?

It wont upload, what I see in the Rh of the box where the file is
            its a red (!)
there is no file in the lower section to put a tick mark.
            I can find the file
I dont think its too big at 1.03meg

I've only had this problem when uploading a Tech Bulletin PDF - the file was less than 200k, but it errored out every time. I think it may have been blocked as copyright based on the file name (it was distributable though) - try changing the name. I've never had any other problem, from several different locations, different comptuers, and different OS's including Mac and Linux. (had to load a plugin from the Mac but it told me and it worked fine)

Shadow might be onto something there......

I once was uploading some pictures into my profile album, but one wouldn't work, each time I tried. It was named 'untitled1.jpg'. As soon as I changed the name to something else, it worked fine.

Perhaps the forum software already has a file by that name on the attachments folder. Try renaming it to something unique (I personally like to use the date and time, it's almost guaranteed there won't be another file by that name there - now it would be 201002092224.jpg )

That's odd - can you send it to me (if it's nothing confidential - I assume it isn't since you want to post it on the forum)?
