When I try to search the Sharp forum for service codes I never get results. Example: I searched for "L4-16", which I happen to know is there, and it finds nothing. Am I doing something wrong? The problem is, at least for me, service codes are the most common search I need to do. Thanks.

I think you'll get better results if you choose Advanced Search, Search Single Content Type, enter your keywords, then select the forum you would like searched from the drop down list. Try that. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

IMHO the search feature worked fine until some major update some time ago that messed everything up.
Now I resort to use Google with results only found on this site.
For example, to search on copytechnet.com about jams, I'd use "jam site:www.copytechnet.com" without quotes.' "But the salesman said . . ." The salesman's an asshole!'
