Have a look at todays Birthday List..... somethings wrong here....

Have a look at todays Birthday List. There is no way that there can be so many new users with exactly the same birthday, mostly female names.

I think this site is being spammed or hacked big-time!!

On another forum, I found myself with the formidable task of determining which members were real humans and which were electronically generated. It was trends like you just identified that helped me pinpoint the electronic entries. Often there were dozens of logins or email addresses that varied by only one character. Many of the false logins came in via USSR or Czech servers. Ever since we updated the website, the registration confirmation feature does a good job of eliminating electronic entries. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Not to mention the fact that soooo many of them are 32!

I wouldn't mind being 32 right now. Maybe it's just wishful thinking. =^..^=

You can tell that you're just a smidge over 32 Dave, when you mentioned the USSR instead of Russia.
I haven't heard of USSR mentioned since I was in school 16 years ago!

I cannot recall, but is there one of those image verification questions included in the signup to eliminate bot entries? If not, that would be advantageous.

Please do not PM me for questions related to Konica Minolta hardware.
I will not answer requests or questions there.

                  Smells like a toilet on a prawn trawler, <<<very fishy>>> .

Yes I believe for the moment I have a trojan virus in my system at present. I plugged in a USB stick from another unsafe computer (Doh!). The USB stick immediately started updating windows with 22 new updates. My video card has dropped out so I know its a credit card phishing program. I boot my computer up and more internet packets are being sent out than coming in.

I'm not worried as this computer is my grub computer. I allow the hackers to play around for their own entertainment, satisfy their fetishly grubby habits. I dont' mind as long as they let my system run full speed, and don't' do DOS attacks. I don't do internet transactions on this PC so it's not a concern. I usually wipe this drive every couple of months to clean it out in any case.

It's ashame about the bot, spammers and virus hacker grubs making computing a bad experience for a lot of people.
I some times wonder how many virus hack programs are written by actual hackers themselves, and not virus companies? Both have an interesting way of keeping themselves in business when you think about it.

My work laptop picked up a Trojan Thursday within minutes of receiving an email entitled "Your Anti-Virus Protection is about to expire ... " I hadn't even opened the email. I agree that these anti-virus protection folks are keeping themselves in business by infecting as many PCs as possible. That's also why they know how to identify the viruses. They created them. =^..^=

.I placed a challenge question that asked (paraphrased):

If you spam the site with solicitations do you agree to have your email address and IP address sent to a global database of reported spammers?

                            Yes
                            yes

Haven't had one since but other regular good members have continued to register.
