Problem with thread links in Gmail

Has anyone else experienced this problem.

The other night the thread links in the reply emails from CTN sudden quit working correctly. In the past, the links were highlighted as links and all I had to do was click anywhere on the link and it opened in a new tab. From one email that worked to the next it no longer worked. I now have to highlight the link as though I were going to copy it. I can then right click on it and select "Open in a new tab". This is more a nuisance that anything else. I am using Gmail with Firefox.

I just tried using IE and the same thing. The last email that still worked was dated Dec 1, 2014 @9:20 AM. The first email that did not work was dated Dec 1, 2014 @ 5:00 PM. Links in emails from other senders appear to be working.

I logged on this morning only to be prompted we " You have already registered with that name, did you forget your password" I always place that crap in the big-bother-ware intrusion into our affairs category"...
All paranoia aside I haven't seen the links problem you're referring to.

I'm using Firefox for Android;it randomly drops out when typing threads an I sometimes have to restart the program.

I was at Firefox 33.1, and so far it's been fine ... and as I was looking Firefox updated itself. I guess we'll see when the update finishes. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
