Good evening to the community, I'm usually more of a quiet reader here and have already received a lot of help from various posts here.
In private ownership I currently have an old used Canon ImagePress C1+ which has a very good color quality, but unfortunately has strokes on prints which, according to a friend, can no longer be repaired economically.
Therefore, instead of a used printer, I would now like to use a new or display device. Because according to the statement of the service technician, today's printers - even the cheaper series - print better than the ImagePress C1+ because of the outdated technology.
The OKI Pro9000 series sounds very promising, but seems to be out of budget. I've also asked some local shops, but they couldn't really help me in this context and could only recommend "normal" office printers like the "HP LaserJet Enterprise M776dn" and "OKI MC883dn".
My question is: Which printers, regardless of the manufacturer, would you recommend for printing graphics?
The upcoming project would be an artbook, so a print with high color quality and fidelity would be very important.
I have currently put together the following "requirements":
Print sheets size: A3 (or larger)
Paper weight:Duplex capable: Required
High color accuracy or even an internal color calibration
Precise duplex printing (front/back, precise feeding of paper sheets)
Resolution: min. 1200dpi
Budget:Location: Austria, Europe (Maybe important because some models are specific to different countries)
I am also very interested in the sleeking process, so it would be very good if the printer prints with laser technology, and precise positioning.
Current models that I am considering:
Would be glad about any help!
Best regards & Thanks in advance
