I never am a fan of the constant moving videos on home pages. Maybe that's just me. The motion on this one is faster than many too, making you get dizzy even quicker than others with motion/video. Just my opinion.

I kinda like the video in the background but my mama didn't raise no fool. The board has spoken and I will be going with a stand alone image and getting rid of the video. But not today. My head hurts.

The video isn't that bad, at least on mobile. My only pet peeve is the infinite scroll: I have to keep scrolling down the page to get the information on the business. That may just be the mobile render.

Overall, pretty clean site with a modern look: there are plenty of sites out there that still look like a leftover Geocities page.

Yeah, that's the mobile render as you call it. I actually sent an email to the web designer this morning to change the video to a stand alone image. But I decided that I liked the video and I have to go with my gut feeling and I told her to leave as is.

          Thanks for your input, man.

I would not overthink the website. It is Ok and looks like 1,000 other copier websites that all lack some sort of compelling connection to your local business community.

As the website is not set up for eCommerce, it is basicaly a big brochure. There is nothing compelling in your website (a specific, special offer) so that if someone calls asking about that specific offer, you know your website is working for you.

Put whatever money you have remaining in your budget into SEO (Search Engine Optimizarion) and Google/Bing ads (this is a monhly recurring cost) that are geolocated for your local market.

Your website does not feature a blog that you can add weekly useful commentary to build up SEO. If you think your website is a one time effort and done, you have already wasted much of your money.

If potential customers cannot find your website, it does not matter much about the content.

Be prepared for months of inactivity and few sales leads from the website as it gradually builds up a web presence in your local market.

You should look at the competitve websites in your local market and see if they offer something unique that you could emulate.

Also, it is not clear if you only offer Epson wide format printers and not their A4 MFP and label printer product. Generally, you have to Epson authorised to offer these products which I suspect you are not.

Design your website with the expectation that people will view it 4 to 1 on their mobile device vs a PC desktop.

On my 17" laptop the biggest complaint about the video is ther head that keeps leaning in from the side is definitely distracting. I agree with having to scroll. And that contact shot does not need to be at the bottom of every page. If they want contact you they will click on the Contact Us at the top. On the supplies page it you can replace it with a supplies request form.

If you go to just about any copier website, you're gonna have to scroll. It's that way due to people who log on on a cell phone. Look at Dex Imaging's Website:

The links at the top of the page will take you to wherever you need to go. However, that part isn't fully complete yet. And I agree with you on the supply page. As far as the video being distracting? Be that as it may, I've decided to keep it. At least for the time being. That's for your feedback. And I mean that.

There's a lot of good stuff in there. Some I knew and some that I didn't. But I will get up to speed on the stuff that I didn't know about. Thanks for the information.

PS - I have a multi-layered plan to drive traffic to my website. One method is to employ a mass email campaign via MailChimp. Working on that.

The only risk with that is that 80% of those may only be seen by the spam filtre.
