Re: Copystar is Dead Now Kyocera
I heard that this was coming. I wonder how it will affect Copystar dealers?Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime. -
Re: Copystar is Dead Now Kyocera
Sounds more likely they just wanted to reduce manufacturing costs of shipping two identical boxes with different brands and, no longer have to stock two different lines of product within their internal distribution systems. Never really understood, why some manufacturers maintain multiple brands if its widely known that the units are the same.Comment

Re: Copystar is Dead Now Kyocera
Mitas and Kyoceras have been sold under a wide variety of badges: Copystar, Gestetner, Utax, Adler Royal, Monroe, Olivetti, IKON, Ricoh ... probably more.
My assumption was that Copystar was originally another reseller that was struggling financially, and eventually swallowed up by Mita/Kyocera, to preserve the brand. Can anybody confirm if that is true? =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
