    Comparing CANON and Kyocera-mita

    Hi,
We have been handling Canon machines for the past 15 years and quite happy about performance and availability of Compatible spares, now we are thinking of Kyocera mita as well. Any body worked with Canon and Kyocera mita? please give your comments comparing them in all aspects..
    Thank you in advance...

    Hi

Do you rate all compatable spares equal to oem parts. Whats your thoughts on compatable toners?

We are looking at purchasing a refurbished Canon c5185 after almost 7 years of using Kyocera mita 5035. Our experience has been that the KM is good only for 20 lb. paper. We nearly ruined the machine running 1500 sheets of 65 lb. It took techs a year to finally almost gut the machine and and getting it running well. For the price of the lease, $300+ a month, this has been a horrible machine. Don't sell them, IMO!

Kyocera is a good machine, I sell and service both Canon & Kyocera. The cs,5035,cs5050, cs520i are awesome machines.

If a customer wants more than 50 cpm then I sell Canon, Canon makes a better color machine too.

Listen to the needs of the customers then pick the best machine for them.

I prefer Canon ,because i feel the running cost is very good instead Mita (kyoceraa)
