      Re: contact price

      Two important questions:

      How many copies color/b&w?
      How much fill?

The yields on this model are based on 3% per color, not the typical 5% or 6%. We've got one of these doing 22% to 28% fill per color. To me this means 2 to 3 toner cartridges of each color weekly. I can't imagine how you could charge enough. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

        Just do the math.

Figure it by click, a flat rate can kick you in the wallet.

What is your cost per copy?
Add for scanning, faxing and printing, not to mention networking.
Each can create a service call.

When you figure that out, add your profit.

I sell more contracts on a monthly Cost Per Copy program than a flat rate.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
