GBC Shredmaster 5260X

I usually don't mess with shredders but a good customer asked me to look at this beast. It works fine but reverse doesn't work, button doesn't click like forward. I didn't want to take it apart before doing some research. In parts diagram switch looks like it is part of the control board and cost like $500!

Just curious if anyone has seen this before and if switch can be bought by itself or can be taken apart & cleaned?

Or if someone has a used one to sell?

I haven't worked on this model.
Sounds like there is no reverse power shunt to the main motor start capacitor.
The start capacitor might be blown; I've seen that a couple of times.
The motor start caps are not hard to change.

I occasionally worked on shredders while I was at the mothership, and if NeoMatrix's information doesn't work that machine probably will need a new control board.
I suppose you've already cleaned the entrance sensor really well. So no need to mention that.

Attached is picture of switch I need. I looked on digikey and there are 12,000+ rocker switches. haha
