    Telephony Basics

I just came across a fantastic resource for troubleshooting phone lines (or becoming educated enough to force the phone company to get off their a$$ and fix the line). Take a look at Mike Sandman's website: Testing and Repairing Phone Line Problems

I used to consider myself pretty well informed on telephony, until I read this. After the first reading, I've only absorbed less than half. Two more readings to go ... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

some really useful info in there and some good deals on test gear too.

I was very happy to be able to download the manuals for my TS52Pro, handy having them on my lappy.

            many thanks
