Kyocera printer set to print with Form Overlay

    Greetings guys

setting up a Kyocera FS 4200DN with macros for form overlay. I have 4 file (2 image and 2 macros) that need to be on the SD card for calls from a logical printer. Every time I send the macros using IC Link, it only saves 3 files to the card. I have tried to send the files up one at a time and it is successful and the overlay operation work. however, it will place it in the RAM and not the card. so when I reboot the printer, the files disappear.

anyone out there working with something similar?

    Thanks in advance

Is there any reason that you couldn't just connect a SD card reader directly to your PC, and copy/paste the files directly to the SD card?

Back in the day when we had trouble using IC link to upload barcode fonts to the CF card, I would pick a machine in the office, then struggle to get IC link to work properly just once. When I finally got a proper upload, I would copy the data on the card to a folder on my PC. Then I could copy/paste the data any number of times with 100% success to my CF card reader.

I seem to recall that there is a choice in IC Link of whether you want the data stored on the DRAM or the SD card. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Well, copied files directly in to SD card and the printer reformatted the card.
