Easy print set up for hot desk office

Hi all,

I've been asked if I can supply a machine which anyone ( with limited knowledge) walking into a hot desk scenario office can quickly add the print driver and print to the machine. All flavours of Windows and also Mac OS computers.

Any thoughts on how this could work?

With WSD & Bonjour, don't you need the print drivers?

What ever machine you install supply it with a cheap little desktop pc, then you can install your copier on that PC & share it with everyone on the network, then when the hotdeskers log on all they need to do is choose your pre installed shared copier/printer.

Also choose a machine that has the print from USB pen drive option that way they can save their files on a usb pen drive stick it in your copier to print!

Any PCL compatible printer/MFP can work with generic PCL drivers on all Windows OS and on all current MAC OSX released since Apple started bundling the Generic PCL driver with the OS.
