mpc 2050,pdf

The machine (MP 2852sp) hangs only when printing PDF. I reformatted the HDD, reinstalled the printer driver and performed cold reset but still same problem.Firmware update is not yet done because I do not have access to my-ricoh.com. I have to ask my technical manager to provide me firmware for the machine. Any solution other than firmware update?

is i just when printing all pdf
or just 1 particular pdf
it is possible that some of the pdf requires postscript fonts
does the machine have a postscript option installed

I have encountered this problem myself but every time was solved by reinstalling the drivers from ricoh-europe.com/downloads. Just instal the PCL 6 drivers. good luck. If you need firmware I can help in private message.
