    WXP PDF Printing probs?

    WXP PDF Printing probs?

I found since about 10 days that from multipage PDF's only the first page is being printed, regardless what printer is being used and regardless the computer used as well. This is happening with both Adobe V9.0 and Foxitreader. I'm having WXP Prof SP3

I thought at first that somehow my systems where corrupted but I just made a whole new system for a customer which behaves the same.

Do we have again an incompatible update from MS or what might be going on?

    Update:

We have one computer (hereafter called "Bill"), likely not having yet all the MS updates since it is only used rarely (though I don't know which are missing yet). This computer doesn't have the problems. It is exactly the same configuration as the others (one of them hereafter called "Gates"), same mobo, same processor, ram, hard drive etc. It has the same XP-SP3 platform as the Gates computers.

So everything is identical with the exception of the Antivirus program where Bill has AVG 7.0 and Gates Avast!. Both, Bill and Gates are using the same networked MFP. I can print with Bill the file as it should be without any problem. I shared the MFP from both computers for testing. As follows:

    Bill to MFP: OK
    Gates to MFP: Nope
Bill thru shared MFP on Gates: Nope
Gates thru shared MFP on Bill: OK

Tried extra Gates without Antivirus also a big Nope.

So likely there is an issue with one of the patches / updates from WXP these days. Any idea's?

Is it possible that you could have a different driver setting? There is a setting on Copystar/Kyocera Mita driver called "Print As Image" which allows larger PDF's to print.

You don't mention what type of MFP your using....=^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
