    Toshiba e-STUDIO 5005AC

Got a random issue where the copier looses any ability to print, in fact I have 2 that were installed on the same day. Can ping and web browse ok but will it as hell print. Sometimes the pin box pops up but wont print when you put code in, other times I've had to totally delete the printer and reinstall hence the new server (see below) to see if that made any difference.

    Have done:
    Replaced network cables
    Restarted
    Disabled IPv6 and WSD
Firmwared to T373SY0W1030 and have got I think its 1033 to try
Rebuilt a new print server for it to sit on
Forced network speed to 100Mb full as had issues in the past with them auto negotiating.
Turned user codes off (no difference)

    My plan tomorrow is:
Put a mini switch on the network
    Firmware to latest
Install printer locally on pc to see if it plays up

Any suggestions as I am stuck with what to do next.

Is this happening often enough to demonstrate the issue? Try connecting directly to your laptop via crossover.

I agree with your plan items. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

It can be a day or so or even longer in between it playing up.

On the server if I re add another copy of the printer it works straight away which is the odd thing.

Turns out the 3rd of 4th firmware I have loaded onto this (machine is only a few months old) has fixed it. Never know a machine to need so much firmware been so new.

Many new platforms start out this way. There is new firmware every few days for the first couple weeks. Then it slows down. =^..^=
