I have a client who has a network printer installed but unable to print to it, showing Offline all the time. They also have a USB printer installed which again doesn't print. I work on a Technical Help Desk for a Photocopier firm so used to fault finding this type of issue but this one has stumped me.
What I have tried so far:
I'm able to ping this device and also view the web interface page without issues and both are on the same network range.
This device is working for other users on the network so I can only image this is an issue with the PC directly. I have also noticed when reinstalling the driver when the Wizard is looking to communicate with the network adapter it comes back as Generic Network Adapter when it should be picking up the model specific adapter.Capture.jpg
What I have tried so far:
- Check Port is using TCP/IP address,
- Changed the to port config from RAW to LPR,
- Switched off SNMP Status,
- Reinstalled Driver,
- Deleted/Removed all previous driver for this machine,
- Stopped/Started the Print Spooler,
- Reboot device and MFD.
