    Ricoh Remote Panel Operation apk/dalp

Has anyone managed to get their hands on the Remote Panel Operation app for the Metis C2 range yet?

I look after a few remote sites that have Sharps and Canons via Teamviewer and their remote control (VNC) software comes in real handy.
So I wouldn't mind having a play around with Ricoh's browser based / HTML5 equivalent.

      Some screen grabs.

The screen change refresh rate on the quality setting is not super quick, but it is good enough when you consider it's purely running from a web browser window.

Did have some difficulties trying to login into service mode from a remote session with admin and user authentication enabled though.
I would suggest that they need to add a short cut button on the main menu bar to make accessing service mode a bit easier.

      Apart from that, works ok.

The EU/UK have posted the technical reference documentation on tier2 just before christmas, they just have not publicly released the app yet. (not sure why, maybe there is a bug).

Most major accounts will not allow third parties who so not have a partner agreement with Ricoh to install Apps. Some do not even allow @Remote. I had one whose routers would block SMTP ports for anything on their if it was not from a computer that was part of the domain and the user was not logged in.
