    Canon ImageRunnerAdvance C2030 not scanning to email?

    This machine will scan to the server or a folder but not to email.
    My customer tells me he has had 3 IT techs look at it and none could make
    that feature work. It does print ok also.
    Is there a machine setting that I need to make? I am not an IT tech and this
    is where I usually fall on my face.

    Most likely the email port setting, this can only be changed in service mode. Default is port 25 ask the IT guys what the port should be.

      Thanks copier tech,
      I have seen a couple of these IT techs, not familiar with copiers have trouble
      getting them set up. I will go and check the port #.
