Scanning to wifi connected network pc

Appreciate if someone advise me, the scanned document from network (wired) scanner is not reaching to the PC connected through Wi-Fi (same network).

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Scanning to wifi connected network pc

The short answer is yes this is possible, most copiers are wired & laptops wifi, SMB scan works fine in this setup.

As a test plug a laptop into a wired port, now does SMB scan work?

                  Further........

The PC is not using Airprint. Airprint sets up its own individual network.
The router is not set for "individual WiFi connections" otherwise the MFD or PC will only see the WAN an not LAN.
All resources/shares must have access to the LAN to be able to see each other. Make sure they're on the same subnet.

A simple xping batch file to find IP's connected to a given network/subnet:

Re: Scanning to wifi connected network pc

Is the PC using an internal WiFi or a USB WiFi dongle? I have encountered USB WiFi dongle that do not support file sharing.
