    Enabling POP3 on copiers

What is the purpose of enabling POP3 on a copier?

I think the purpose is to allow a copier to receive an email?

Why would you want to do that?

To print directly email attachments without print drivers?

I once had a single customer that authenticated with POP3, but that was it. It made absolutely no sense to me, but that was the way local IT wanted it, and talked me through it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

In my 20+ years in the copier biz, I have never had this request but I kinda knew the feature was there.

The request is from a customer using some kind of Cloud based software.

I will let you know how it works out.
