Not quite sure what is meant with this line though, "With Command Workstation Or Fiery Downloader send this file via the DIRECT Queue", an further explanation would be much appreciated.
You can skip the utilities altogether if you want.

    From a command prompt, type: lpr -S <ip address> -P direct <filename>

    For example: lpr -S 102.168.1.5 -P direct c:\giveitup.ps

The "S" and "P" must be in caps, and "direct" must be in lowercase.

      Great! Thanks a lot!
I don't help end-users. Hate me, give me bad reputation, I don't give a rat's a**. Pay a tehnician to solve your problem! We have to live too! What do you do when something hurts? Do you go to a doctor, or do you search it on google/ forums?

        Works like this:
Unzip the file...it will be a PostScrit file.
With Command Workstation Or Fiery Downloader send this file via the DIRECT Queue.
The Fiery will then print one sheet with the admin password. Beats the heck out of reloading system software.

Hope it helps someone in a pinch. As far as I know it works with all models past and present.
Wow..great working! i would be recommended to my friends..Thanks!

And naturally you didn't have a backup right?

                      Hi,
I have another problem with that script:
Here in Austria/Europe we don't have 8.5x11'' as we have different paper formats (A4 ist the default paper size).
How can I change that in the script?
Otherwise our WorkCentre just doesn't print the document...
                      Regards
                      Stef

                      ----
OK - just to let you know:
I could solve the problem for me with a workaround: I had the password for the configuration tool that you can access over the webtool.
There I could define the default paper format for ps files and define further that the Fiery changes all us format pages to din format.
Then I could print the password.... but that didn't help me anyway as I couldn't find any tool or database that could decrypt it (no, even not the one linked somewhere in this topic)!
But then I realized that I can create a new admin user with the configuration tool and now I can view and delete the print jobs with this user.
BUT: I have to say that both, the Fiery and our Xerox WorkCentre are shitty compared to other machines... you can't edit anything in the print jobs, only see which ones are there and delete unnecessary ones. I know Sharp machines well for example, and there you can change the paper format or tray later on and things like that!

use the file attached and proceed with the same instructions on the initial post, (I edit the file attached with a smaller font this way you will get all 32 characters on the MD5 Hash) than go the web site MD5 Decrypter.com, MD5 Decryption, Free MD5 Decrypter, Security, MD5 Hash, MD5 Security.
and input your MD5 Hash,,,, and like magic your admin password will appear
                          good luck to all.....

PS: if you are able to read all 32 characters with the original file, you don't need to download my file (my file has a 10 point size font, original file has a 20 point size) in my case I was not able to get all characters.
I tried the PostScript file posted above and I succeeded to print a sheet whit the next MD5 hash:
                          df2b9f1336167b69c622a71c82be8541
BUT the MD5-reverser that You suggested is NOT working for me...
Can you offer an alternative for me?
                          Many thanks!

I didn't have luck running that one through as an MD5 either. It did however decrypt with SHA1 showing the MD5 hash being correct.

I put this through a SHA1 decrypter and it was able to pull the MD5 decrypted password. Let me know if you have success on this.

                                Actually,

It still is MD5. The other websites database just didn't have a record of your certain hash value. So disregard the SHA1 part
