    SNMP monitor

Hello, I am trying to configure the machines that we have in maintenance to be able to connect them through snmp and thus be able to check the status of toner, counters and error codes.

Do you know of any snmp monitor that works outside the local network?

Have a look at FM audit
    MPS Software – PrintSolv
You may need to run it on a machine at each client's. Issue with snmp is you have to open ports on router and this is not recommended as it opens security holes for your customers, last thing you want is to be blamed for opening security issues. Also have a look at Arvik sold product used more for full network management rather than just copiers. Easy to to set up email notifications from the device and to you eg toner@bussines meter business etc then set up automation on email addresses.

Yes there are plenty. Are you looking for a free or paid tool? Free tools I tried inevitably have dead ends.
PrintFleet is paid tool we're using.

Confirm, once installed it would be smooth as silk. Both for the customer and us. As soon as the agent(DCA) runs on their server(ideally) but most of times on local PC (bad idea).
