I don't think it has anything to do with age as I'm old, too. It comes down to individual taste. Personally, I love RGB and all the bling, so to speak. Some prefer the minimalist approach. I've watched builds on YouTube and they use very expensive parts in a sealed case with no glass. Nothing wrong with that but it's not my style.

New Gaming PC
This is a new build that my son is building. Of course, I'm paying for it. lol
Check it out. This is where I got the idea. They Hyte Y60 case is stunning. This is the exact same build but we're using AMD Ryzen 7.
