    Bluetooth LAN adapter

    Customer is so proud of his new iPhone, that he wants to be able to print with it directly to a KonicaMinolta BH-C-284e by using Bluetooth.
    His WLAN network has been switched off for “Security Reasons” (his words)

    Any drawbacks? Any suggestion for an adapter please?

      Sounds to me like someone has been doing things on his iPhone that he is not supposed to be doing. I would contact his corporate office to find out if he is authorized to make such a request. If allowed a USB dongle would be the easiest to install but would have limited range. An iPhone is a Class 2 Bluetooth has a range of about 10 meters. If the dongle is a Class 3 device that range drops to about 4 meters. The same range limits apply to an internal Bluetooth interface.

          The BH284C was introduced in Sept 2013, discontinued in March 2017.

          You are chasing a dead horse on a copier that should have been upgraded years ago.

          The BH technology in the 284c is probably obsolete and cannot keep up with the latest iPhone security standards.

          Politely walk away and suggest the customer upgrades their copier.

          Try AirPrint instead.
