    Browser issues

Not sure if this is common knowledge...for Chrome, and edge browsers

When you are connecting to a printer web connection, and the SSL connection is not up to par, you usually have an choice to "allow", and continue to the the site..What do you do when the browser reports the site is not safe and does not give you the choice to accept the risk and continue??? Try typing "thisisunsafe" anywhere in the brower window..it should let you continue to the site and remember your choice on the next visit. I'm not saying you should not update to support all the latest TLS, SSL but at least you can get in in a pinch.

One of the reasons I never use Chrome or Edge.

Install the certificate supplied by the manufacturer? Did this for a canon the other day. Found the instructions in the user manual for the printer.

        Re: Browser issues

Firefox has been my browser of choice for most things.
        Internet Explorer for Kyocera.

That's a good tip for "unsafe" websites, though. Thanks.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If this happens on an older Kyocera machine, you have to go to network security and enable all of the higher level security settings (TLS 1.2, SHA2, etc.) Do this by accessing Command Center RX via the old Internet Explore, make the changes and then you'll be able to get in using Chrome. These are the same settings needed to allow for scanning via O365. Not sure if this is related to your post, but we've had to do this on a lot of older machines here lately to gain access via chrome.
