Hello I have an old fiery pro-80 connected to a Konica Minolta C7000. A few days ago a glitch started where a certain job somehow started to repeat constantly. The job can be deleted from the printer's queue and from the fiery software but no matter what it consistently reappears. I have of course restarted the fiery, the computer that sent the job and the printer itself. Even after multiple times the problem always seems to return eventually. I have also used the fiery software to "clear server" multiple times. (I only checked the top two boxes before running) I don't really know for sure as I have little experience with fiery but could something in the fiery server itself be corrupted? Any suggestions? Oh and the error connected occasionally to the glitched jobs that keep appearing is (PS typecheck error, offending command "image") This will show up on the copier itself occasionally but the fiery app more often.
Fiery repeating the same job constantly even after restart

Re: Fiery repeating the same job constantly even after restart
You may also want to clear all the files from the spool queue on the PC, as well.
It should be located at: C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
BTW... ".spl" files are "spool" files, while ".shd" are "shadow" files, which allow the spool files to resume processing should they get interrupted somehow.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment
