      For what's worth, not exactly a tool to carry over to the customer's place, but I nice alternative to paid solutions like Anydesk or Teamviewer is RustDesk.

      It is free to use, and you can even setup a self-hosted server at your home office/workplace so you won't depend on the few (I believe they're two) public servers available.

      I have a server running at home so I can access my home boxes anywhere, securely (password + public/private key) and without paying a dime.

          Thanks Kenny for bringing this up. I have found a couple of things I will have to try.

          Lately, I have been using Pale Moon Browser to get into older devices that will not connect using other browsers. It has taken the place of what I used to use Internet Explorer.
