KM 5050 Scan to E-mail
Hi all, trying to set-up scan-to-email on Km5050.Can ping, print and scan to smb no problem.Used dhcp "on" when starting up so the machine picked up dns/domain name settings etc. SMTP server is set-up and when I hit the test button it comes up ok,gave the machine an e-mail address, set up a user in the address book with email address and smb settings. The network server is windows 2003 and Im wondering if its blocking the emails. The error that comes up is 2202 (network cable connection or hub problem),,any advice very much appreciated..

Dickie, your post seems to be about email but then you mentiond SMB ? If you're setting it up to scan to email, the connection test only makes sure it can find the SMTP. I don't think it tries to authenticate or anything. I usually run setup up the email for the meter to go to our shop & test that. This will give you a little more info.
