    Help Deleted Driver!!

    Hi all,
first of all,,AAAAgghh....thats better... Stupid me deleted what I thought was a defunct driver from windows 2003 buisness server as I was repairing a connection to an oki colour mfp. Unknown to me it was shared to an older windows nt 4.0 server with a specific software package that had a printed through a path to the deleted driver.Access to the package is limited and the nt server is being a pain to work on so my Question is can I by some miracle RESTORE the deleted driver in all its glory or is there a system restore point on windows 2003 server. I know this a probably a long shot but the flip side is being bent over a barrel by the ridiculosly expensive software support people
    Many thanks in advance..

I've done somethings while cleaning up my drive and system restore helped. Under search type, system restore. It should pop up. Then open the link.
I guessing you might have a restored point, if one was created.

Did you just Delete the PRINTER from the Printer window? If So the driver is still there. You should be able to find it under File, Server Properties, Drivers. If still there, reinstall it using the Printer Wizard. I'm sure someone knows the PORT it is using.

It therefore wouldn't let windows reload and I had to install my original copy of Windows XP Pro. However, once re-installed it turned out that in the process all the drivers got deleted. Video, Audio, Internet etc. I unfortunately moved away for school and don't have access to the original CD. I tried to download the drivers from IBM but there are too many options and I don't know which one to pick. All I know is that I have an IBM Netvista, maybe an m24? Is there anyway I can find out this information?| Hens Night | Clothes
If it's like a Dell there is a tag on the side of the machine that will get you to the config page for your computer. For the burnt copies on CD's, when this happens I sometimes recopy the CD to a new medium and it works, sometimes!! Always an enjoyable experience when you are trying to work with copies of copies or unzip packages!

              Good luck.

If you haven't emptied the "Recycle bin" you may still be able to restore the deleted file.
