    I have a Lawyer who wants to install a copier/printer/scanner (maybe a KM bizhub 420). He has a total of 3 llawers in the suite all with different IP address. They all want to use the same machine. I need sugestions please.

    Set the machine to auto obtain and set that as the machines IP address. Then install the driver to each lawyers pc with the machines ip address. and they all should be able to print after that.

      All the IP addresses need to be in the same scope (see below for example), but other than that it is a normal install as far as a networked copier goes.

      Once you have figured out the range that the clients are using, then set the copiers IP so that it won't be the same as the other IP addresses. Install your driver using a 'Standard TCP/IP' port on each PC (or once on the server if they have one and share it out).

      IP Scope: The must all be running in the same scope such as 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.254. Scopes such as 192.168.0.* will not talk to 10.1.1.* and vice versa.
      Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
