I have a Toshiba Copier (ES 800 series) connected to the network via a static IP. For whatever reason, it will no longer speak to the network. I can't print to it, I can't access it, I can't even ping it. I've tried changing the IP but nothing happens. The settings are all correct as far as I can tell, but for whatever reason it and the network will not speak to one another.
I've tried starting and stopping related services in Windows, but nothing changes. Hardware all seems to check out as well.
The problem started a week or so ago when the darn thing simply stopped working. It was fine before -- I could print to it, ping it, etc. But it randomly stopped working for no apparent reason -- all of the settings are the same. This apparently used to happen under the old IT person too and there was some work-around to get it working again. My gut tells me it is a problem specific to Toshiba, but I could be wrong.
Any thoughts?
