    IFax

Question - What are the pros and maybe cons if there are any of having IFax? What functionality does it give you that is different from simply using fax or email? I'm assuming it's all the same for all brands, but I specifically work with Panasonic and Kyocera products and never really understood the point of having IFax when the MFP can already fax and email.

I think Ifax has better subaddressing features, but then again, who ever uses fax subaddressing?

      Good point on the sub-addressing.

The feature has been around since the late 1980s, and I know of precisely no one who has ever used it.

Besides the con of both machines needing to be ifax capable, I can't think of any other benefit. Can't you set all machines to POP an email address ? Just have it sent and printed there. No need to spend the money for ifax ?
          Hope that helps !
