    bizhub 350/250 connectivity

    Hi all
I tried to connecting bizhub 250 to the network using UTP straight and setup the IP address for the MFP. Then I ping both from MFP and PC, both of them replied. No problem.
When I try to open the PSWC, it takes at least 20 sec to open the web connection. Then I try to do print test page, not succeed. I see the memory free 99% and (!) mark displayed. But no test page printed.
Then I tried using UTP crossover directly from my notebook to the MFP. No problem for printer and scanner function.
Anyone know the solution? please help me.
    Thank you.

There's something wrong somewhere between the MFP and the switch - could be the UTP cable, the wall connector, the wall cabling, etc etc etc.

Try to lower the MFP network speed to 10Mbps Half-Duplex, sometimes it solves the problem for me. But ultimately the best solution is to pinpoint the problem in the network and solve it.

Had once a similar experience. Found never the reason but used a workaround mentioned by a colleague in this forum. He suggested to hookup the MFP through an extra switch just behind the machine and this is working since more than a year now. The network is very large and complex with several segments. Almost impossible to find the real cause but that trick works well.
