I have a customer that has a BH363 and we were setting up scan to email through their 2003 Exchange server.
The scan errors out with the description "Forward TX Error". What does this error mean? Looking through the tech site, it says that this is caused when authentication is turned on and is not needed. However, we didn't have authentication on to begin with.
We used multiple accounts that are valid. We tried SMTP authentication, we turned it back off, nothing worked. Logs of the exchange server didn't show anything being rejected.
We did set up LDAP and it did find the email address and such just like it should, but still nothing. So I know the settings are correct. We tried the IP of the exchange server, we tried the host name. Nothing changed.
Any suggestions???
