    Konica Bizhub C252 Not recognising print jobs

    We are using a Konica Minolta Bizhub c252 printer/copier which is connected to a network of 4 computers.

    We had a technician round a couple of weeks ago to try and connect the scanner but he was unable to do this blaming that we are on windows 7, my issue is we have been printing perfectly for a year now with no issues at all. since he has tried to fir this scanner the printer is fully recognised on all computers in the office but when sending to print no data is going through to the printer, he has tried to fix the problem but doesnt know what is wrong and has blamed it on our router which could be the case but it just seems a bit too coincidentle that these things have happened at the same time.

    Does anybody have any ideas how to fix the problem, thanks for your help

          I have several scanning to winblows 7. It is a permissions and password requirement that needs to be addressed. As to printing, unless you changed the ip of the printer he should not have done anything to cause it.
          And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

              I would connect the MFP to my laptop via crossover cable. Then you can print, scan, whatever ... excluding the affects of your network.

              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  Yes you can connect a laptop via a crossover cable to bypass your network and see if you can print. Have you tried to ping the machine and if so, does it reply? Also check your gateway and subnet mask settings.
