Most of the Kyoceras come with Paperport, which is the stripped down version of Omnipage. I've only really worked with Paperport so I'll limit my commentary to that. The few documents that I struggled to OCR were very inaccurate in the text matching. Most of the words were garbled in some way ... even standard Times New Roman text. And it was dreadfully slow. My experience was an exercise in frustration.

I did a little fiddling with the KyoCapture functioning on the Kyoceras. There also is an OCR function. In our office we discovered that the document processor still pulls then through at 100 pages per minute, but the poor KyoCapture server slogged along at 30 seconds to 1 minute a page. Consequently, 120 pages took a little over a minute to scan, and a little over 2 hours to process. And if you kept feeding it, it would get slower, and slower, and slower. It's not something I could recommend to anybody. If I knew a little more about it maybe I could have souped up the KyoCapture server somehow. Like bronco31 said it's a quagmire, and I just didn't have the time or knowledge to straighten it out properly. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

PaperPort on it's own doesn't have the best OCR capabilities, though it has been getting better as of late. PaperPort and OmniPage bundled together is the way to go.

Paperport, or at least the older version I still use is a program that can control scanners with "Twain" drivers. It also offers an easy way to organize scans into folders, and has some scan annotating, editing and conversion functions. For example, I use it to convert its proprietary file format to Adobe Acrobat image files.
I had Omnipage for a while but didn't use it that often. But from when I did use it, Omnipage provided the Paperport OCR capability, and had significantly more image editing capability, and was able to accept the native Paperport file format as well as most others that I tried.
