    airprint to HP printer

Is wireless printing or airprint option from iphone to HP color Laserjet 4600 is possible? if so does the printer need a hard drive option installed?

It does not appear to be supported. Try this link for information on HP and Airprint.

There are companies that sells software allowing any printer attached to a PC to advertise as an AirPrint printer, see one of them below.
Transform printing by eliminating print drivers. Download, install, and quickly simplify your printing IT. Great for G Suite, Chrome, MacOS, and iPad printing.

If the device is connected to a Windows machine or Mac, than it can be AirPrint'ed to. You must install AirPrint for Windows (free) or handyPrint for Mac (not free) to print to any printer connected to the computer.

Thanks Ruben for posting the instructions. I have read over them and need to ask:

In the prerequisites it says to make sure iTunes and Bonjour Printer Services are installed. Do you mean installed on the PC that you create the AirPrint folder on? I think I'm ok on everything else.

They need to be installed on the PC which is hosting the print jobs (which has the printer already installed).

Thanks Ruben. I'm going to try this on a machine that does not air-print.

Well, I tried with no luck. Had a little trouble with the command prompt. You know, whether to put a space or not. Eventually got it. My laptop is able to print to the MFP via the LAN by way of Ethernet cable. This MFP is a Panasonic that does not support AirPrint. Prior to this we have printed to a Samsung MFP that does have AirPrint capabilities. Not sure what I missed. Would appreciate help. I have been asked to try and make this work.
