Kip 700 wide format dark copies

My customer has a Kip 700 machine. I never sold him that but they called me with a question. They are trying to make a copy from mylar and the copies come out very dark. Besides this the machines woks fine. They have a service contract with an authorized Kip dealer and the tech couldn't do anything. Is their a code that I can put in to make the copy come out lighter?? Once they make their copies I will reprogram it. So is their a code and if so how do I do it.
    Thanks.

Not that I know of. What happens if you insert the mylar with a white piece of paper behind it? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Barry, if they have a contract with another dealer, do yourself a favor and step back because if you do something to the settings and screw up the machine... they are coming after you. I've been there done that, hands off. These are just my words of advice, do what you will from this point on. Remember, in the court of law a contract is a legal binding document.
