Re: Canon ir3300 doesnot detect A4, A4R,A3 cassettes
-What sizes do they detect
-When does this detection issue appear ?? loading paper ? or a message appears to load correct size for printing/copying ?
-Is this a Jamming>size issue ?
-Did this happen out of the blue> or after service ?
Perform the adjustment of the Paper Width Basic Value in Service Mode > Function CST ?
DCON clear_? make sure to print out a P PRINT before this clear & re-input those settings.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment

Re: Canon ir3300 doesnot detect A4, A4R,A3 cassettes
Does it attempt to lift, making it's lovely "clackety clack" noise? If it makes the noise, but only lift 1mm up, down, up, down, then you've got missing teeth from the lift ratchet. Sometimes changing the amount of paper will get it working, until you get to that worn part of the ratchet.
It's a really fun job. I think I've already posted the disassembly procedure somewhere. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
